Mouse is Frozen

February 24, 2008 – 11:20 am

While in the middle of writing my mouse just froze.  At first I thought it was the computer freezing up but then I realized that the keyboard was still working and it was just the mouse that was frozen.  Any ideas on this computer problem?

If you have a wireless mouse, the most common reason for this occurrence is for the batteries to wear out.  The fix is to flip the mouse over, turn it off, then replace the batteries.  When finished  turn the mouse back on and you should then have the mouse capability back working again.  No need to close any programs, just replace the batteries and you should be able to continue working again within the same program.  If this doesn’t fix your computer mouse problem, you can always give iNeedTech.com a call and the techs can diagnose your specific problem.
